Same sex wedding card

Afternoon everybody.

I'm digging through all my cards that I have not yet blogged or shared anywhere - there's hundreds of them! I made loads of "draft" posts on Blogger so I'm doing those ones first :P

As you can see from the date on this card, it's from 2014 - I'm REALLY behind :P The card is a wedding card, and this image from Some Odd Girl was perfect for it :D

I made a stepper card - they're so effective, I must really get more imaginative in my crafting again!

Evening everybody :)

As it is the first of March, the latest challenge over at the All Dressed Up Facebook Page has gone live. The theme this month is 1-2-3; one of something, two of something, three of something.

I've used the gorgeous image Love Heart for my card :)

I think I need a new camera, no matter what light I take my pictures in now, and no matter what settings I use, the colour is always a bit off.

Sunday 5 February 2017

Wow, it's been a while!

Can't believe the last time I blogged was in November last year!!!

It's been a hectic couple of months! College exams, projects and presentations and Christmas card orders by the dozen do not go well together :P haha. I get my semester results on Monday, hopefully they'll all be OK :D

I took advantage of my lack of internet this morning to sort out some of the photos of cards I've taken over the last year and sort them into the folders I keep them in, so I'm hoping to blog some of these over the next little while :)

I got a request for a card for a boy with cerebral palsy, his grandmother wanted a special birthday card for him for his 21st, he plays wheelchair football and she wanted some kind of theming around that. To be honest, it was very hard to find any kind of wheelchair images, there are one or two that I found but none that were football related, so the wonderful Lisa Bloobel of Bloobel Stamps helped me out by supplying me with this beauty :D He's perfect! He's called Football Crazy

Ingredients
Doodlebug papers, the cutouts are from the pack as well
MS star border punch
Ribbon from stash
Red dewdrops and ricrac from Ribbon Girl
Marianne Design number dies
Coloured with Copics
Sentiments printed on the computer

Thanks for looking, and hopefully I'll be back sooner than two months with my next card :D

(very late) Crafty Friends DT Post

So after ages of my being laptopless, I dug out my aged Macbook from the cupboard, it's very slow and is about three gigantic updates out of date, but until I get my own one back, this will have to do nicely!!!

Thus, I'm really behind with my DT duties - the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog's current challenge is nearly at an end, but I'm getting up to date with my posting anyway. The theme this time is Blossoms, so to use flowers somewhere on your creation.
We are sponsored by the wonderful Sami Stamps

and also by the wonderful Toadstool Printables

We were really lucky to be given images from the two sponsors to use for our cards, and I got the absolutely stunning Wildflower Beauty from Sami Stamps.

And here is the card I made. I'm trying my hardest to fit all my images into Christmas cards, to make up for my inadequacy of building up a Christmas stash during the year :P Every year I say "next year I'll make a Christmas card every week" and then when "next year" rolls around, I find myself sweating it in December trying to fit everything in :P Sigh. Maybe next year!
Ingredients
Wild Flower Beauty - Sami Stamps
First Edition papers
Cheery Lynn holly flourish die
Crafts too snowflake border die
LOTV sentiment
Ribbon from Ribbon Girl
Poinsettias from stash
Liquid Pearls, Frantage powder
Coloured with Copics, edged with Distress Inks
