Another card by Little Miss Hana :)

Evening again :)

My niece Hana got crafty again this week :) She's back to school tomorrow, all kitted out with new uniform and whatnot! She's looking forward to seeing all her teachers and friends again, we live out in the middle of nowhere and there's not really any kids her age around, so she missed all her little friends a lot during the summer.

As you can see, she loves rainbows, glitter, gems and purple :P She made this entirely by herself as I had to head off halfway through, I came back to some perfectly Glossy Accented Wild Rose Studio elephants and purple Stickles everywhere :P She gave this one to me and my sister and put a really lovely message inside, she's just the cutest!!!

I'm going to enter this into the Simon Says Stamp Children's Challenge on her behalf :) I'm also entering it into Little Hands Challenge Blog - Anything Goes and Crafty Boots Kids Challenge - Bingo (Stripes/Stamp/Red) for her too :) She'd be delighted to win something!

Thanks for looking, she loves reading the comments so if you'd like to comment on her card, please do! The more the merrier :)

Thanks for looking :)

Hedgies :)

Evening all

My mojo is gone and I've been too sick/too busy to look for it lately! Yesterday was my dad's 60th birthday party, so we've all been up in a heap the last ages organising that, so now that's done with I should have time to start looking for any crafty inspiration.

In the meantime, here's a card I made, I'm not too keen on it but when I haven't slept properly in over a month and I've been unwell and busy, I guess it's a good thing I've been able to make anything at all lol. Also, I've been asked by my neighbour for a lot of cards lately, so I've been getting them all out as fast as possible, and as flat as possible - I haven't had time to make new boxes for my cards, my supply dwindled a while ago lol :P Anyway enough whinging, here's the card :)

So images are both Penny Black hedgies, I love those guys! So sweet :) The ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts, the papers are Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, the sentiment is by Lili of the Valley and the doily is from my stash.

The first image, coloured with Promarkers and there's Glossy Accents and Stickles on there too.

The secone image, as above :) This one is one of my first ever stamps, so is always special to use :)

My sentiment :)

Afternoon everybody :)

Weddings / Anniversaries

and this challenge is sponsored by the wonderful

So here's my card for this challenge :) I made an anniversary card.

The image and sentiment are from Lili of the Valley who are really testing my self-control with all their amazing new releases! I'm surprised I've managed to hold out, but with a holiday in October to save for I feel guilty about spending too much :( The flowers, gems and ribbons are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the paper is from a Papermania Capsule pack, and the little charm is from Ribbon Girl.

A closeup of the image, coloured with Promarkers and I put Stickles on the lights and Glossy Accents on the bike.

Anything Goes at Forever Friends

Morning everybody :)
The sun is shining here for the first time in ages, so after lunch I'm going to take my older next door neighbour out for a walk, we try to go every day but haven't got to go in ages because of the bad weather. So glad the sun is shining!

Over at Forever Friends Challenge Blog today, the new fortnightly challenge theme is

Anything Goes

So no excuses peeps, it's super easy! Come join us! From this challenge onwards, we've also removed the stipulation that you have to have an animal on your creation, so all cards with or without animals are welcome! So get your crafty boots on and come along!

We've got two very nice sponsors this week. The prize for our Randomly Selected Winner is sponsored by
who are offering our winner 4 sheets of digi images, as chosen by the winner.

Our Forever Friends Favourite prize is sponsored by
who are giving the fabulous prize of 3 images of your choice at the web store.

I've taken over the post of Fortnightly Co-ordinator on the Forever Friends Challenge Blog, so big thanks to the always wonderful Lizzie and Diane for having me on their team and trusting me not to screw up haha!

Anyway, here's my card for the challenge. I used an image from the wonderful Oak Pond Creations for my card.

The image as said above is Oak Pond Creations, the papers are from the First Edition Dreamcatchers pack, the purple ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pink one came as packaging on something, the pearls are from Ribbon Girl and the sentiment is from LOTV.

A closeup of this wonderfully versatile image, coloured with Promarkers and covered in Stickles as usual lol, as card of mine doesn't look finished to me unless it's loaded with the stuff! There's also some Glossy Accents on the stems.

A closeup of my bow.

Baby girl card

Evening all

My crafty mojo has disappeared, I'm finding it really difficult this week to make anything! I was asked for a baby girl card by my neighbour though so I had to get my backside into gear and this is what I made.

The image is a Wild Rose Studio one, I made the sentiment myself, the papers are from the Lucy Cromwell by Papermania pack and the gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

A closeup of the image, coloured with Promarkers and laced with Stickles.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

A Post on my niece's behalf!

Evening all :)

This post is to show off my 7 year old niece Hana's talent :P I let her loose in my craft room and this is what she came up with! Herself and her friend adore my 'talent' as they call it, her friend called me a card-making goddess today...the things they come out with!

Isn't it sweet?! I had pink hair last winter so I think that's where that inspiration came from :P She coloured with my Promarkers (some of which are distinctly worse for wear after this use! But her happiness comes first.) She also layered on the Glossy Accents on wherever she could God bless her!  The swirl was a spare I'd cut a while ago. The pearls and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the papers are Lucy Cromwell by Papermania.

I'd like to enter this on her behalf into the Simon Says Stamp Children's Anything Goes Challenge.

Thanks for looking, she's looking forward to reading all the comments on her masterpiece, so the more the merrier people :) Thank you!

From Auntie Tags and Hana xxx

House Mouse :)

Hi everybody

I took my niece to a swimming pool with waterslides and whatnot today, we stayed in for over two hours...don't ask me how! I'm not sure now that it was such a great idea because I'm still not back on form yet, I can't shake the tiredness off me for some reason. She had a great time though, her little face lit up when I said I'd take her, so that made it worthwhile.

I got this stamp a while ago and really loved colouring this in! These little House Mouse guys are just sooo cute :D I've been playing piano since i was 7, so when I saw this one I knew I had to have it :P

I love this image, I think it's just the most adorable image I've ever seen! As mentioned above, it's House Mouse :) The charm and pearls are from Ribbon Girl, the ribbon, flowers and corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the music paper is Bo Bunny, the other I've had in my stash since I started crafting.

A closeup of this sweet image! I coloured it with Promarkers, not sure that I did it justice though.

A closeup of my flowers, I put all sorts of Stickles on them!

A closeup of the ribbon and charm, I would've preferred a bronze treble clef but I didn't have one so a silver one had to do :P

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Bingo (Ribbon/Free/Blooms)
The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Gold/Silver/Bronze - I have all three on here - gold corner, silver charm, bronze stickles :)

Thanks for looking :)

I'm Back

Evening all :)

I've been missing for a while, my boyfriend and I went away for a week, we had a lovely time, got loads of lovely sunshine, and now we're home. It's taken me since Wednesday to get back on track with everything, I wasn't feeling well yesterday so I got nothing done, I think I was just exhausted! Feeling better today though thank goodness.

Anyway enough rambling. I made three cards today, all thank you cards that my neighbour asked for, she was in hospital recently and needs to thank various people. So here's the first one :)

The image and sentiment are from Lili of the Valley, the gems and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the charm and pearls are from Ribbon Girl, the paper is Lucy Cromwell by Papermania and the flourish is a Cheery Lynn one.
A closeup of the image, coloured with Promarkers, the stem has Glossy Accents on it and the flower as always is covered in Stickles.

The bow and flower charm :)

Forever Friends - Something New

Hi All :)

This is another scheduled post so hopefully it works! I should be burnt to a crisp by now, my pasty Irish skin can't handle sun :P

Today's the new fortnightly challenge at Forever Friends Challenge Blog

Our theme this week is

Something New

(new home, baby, stamp, papers, etc.)

and we are sponsored by the ALWAYS AMAZING

Seriously ladies and lads, if you haven't visited their shop, or even haven't visited recently, you really should :P They have loads of new stock coming in all the time, so yeah, go look!!

Here's the card I made for this challenge. I put two 'new' things in - new baby is the obvious one, and new technique is the other one: this is the first time I've tried paper piecing, and I was quite happy with the result really :)

The image is Forever Friends, the papers are Wild Rose Studio, the sentiment is LOTV and the flowers and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The doily is from my stash.

A closeup of the image coloured with Promarkers, the blanket is paper-pieced from the same pack as the background papers. I put stickles on the heart.

My flowers, covered in stickles :)
