White wedding card

Hi everyone :)

This week over at Papertake Weekly there's a Pick of the Year challenge - you can choose ANY challenge theme from during the year and make a card to go with that :)

Please don't use the same card though me darlins, it has to be a new one!!

The challenge will close at 8am on January 7th so you have 2 weeks cos we are having a Papertake week off  :)

We are sponsored by the lovely peeps across the pond at Simon Says Stamp so we have a fabulous $20 voucher to give away !!
Woo Hoo !! :-)

I chose the theme from August - Occasionally :)

I made a wedding card for a friend, and here it is :)

The groom is big into music so it had to include something to do with music on it.

Embossilicious Petit Dots and Spellbinders Music embossing folders
LOTV Simply Sophisticated sentiment in silver embossing
Pink gems and lace from Ribbon Girl
Coloured with Copics and Promarkers
Ribbon from stash

I'm going to bed now but I'll add my list of challenges to add it to in the morning :)
Sweet dreams and have a lovely christmas :)

Card by my niece

Evening everyone!

Thanks again for all the good wishes on my engagement :)

Just sharing a card that my 8 year old niece Hana made for my sister's birthday today, she loves the chance to get her mitts on my craft goodies and she was ill earlier so we took advantage of her needing downtime from all her social activities to make a card :) She's very heavy handed with her colouring - last time she bent some of my promarker nibs haha, so we stuck to the Crayolas this time :P

I stamped out the images and did the cutting and tied the bow for her and she did the rest (i held the paper while she held the heat tool too!) :) She couldn't choose which image she wanted so decided to use both.

I'd like to enter this in a few challenges on her behalf:

She'd love to hear what everyone thinks of her masterpiece :)

Have a lovely Christmas everyone, best wishes to you all, and have a wonderful time with your loved ones, and bigs hugs to everyone who's missing loved ones, can't be with their families or are dealing with illness or pain this holiday season - you especially are in my thoughts.

Love and best wishes

Snow Cute

Morning all

I'm in sunny Florida right now, weather's beautiful and I'm a happy camper!!

It's been a rollercoaster of a week! Literally and figuratively. I've gone on some CRAZY rides in Universal Studios, I literally thought I was going to die on the Hulk rollercoaster. No joke.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is just…indescribable. It is the most magical place on earth, and I never want to leave here haha, just wow!

And to top the wonderful time we spent in The Wizarding World, my boyfriend got down on one knee outside of Hogwarts Castle, and asked me to marry him…Needless to say, I SAID YES!!! :D

We're both massive Harry Potter fans, and it was a Very Harry Potter Proposal haha, he presented me with this:
For any non-Harry fans, this is a Snitch. It is a huge part of the Harry Potter story, and very symbolic, and it's just the most amazing way to be proposed to ever. I cried like a baby. It was just before closing time in the park, so it was very quiet, just the two of us… so romantic :) i couldn't have asked for a more perfect proposal!

We went ring shopping the following day, I chose a beautiful white gold ring with three stones, it had to be resized though so I don't actually have it just yet, when it's on my hand I'll put up a picture ^_^ I'm the happiest girl on the planet right now :) And the luckiest one!

Anyway onto crafty matters.

Yesterday (yes I'm a day late, sowwy!) the Papertake Weekly challenge for this week opened, and here's the info for this week's challenge :)
