Christmas Mouse :)

Hi everyone

I had a busy day today, I made cookies this morning, and the whole while I was making them, I was whining about how terrible our handmixer is, and eventually wore my dad down with my endless moaning so he took me to Harvey Norman and bought me a Kenwood kMix hand mixer, so happy! Although it came with the conditions that I have to bake him loads of nice things lol, but I love baking so I'm ok with that anyway :)

I'm also on a roll with the Christmas cards too, so here's the one I made last night :)

Ingredients
Pearl, gems, button and twine - Ribbon Girl
Medium - Promarkers
Everything else - Gold Stickles, Glossy Accents, Snowtex, Glamour Dust

Christmas Girl

Evening everybody :)

I'm busy making Christmas cards! Like nearly everyone else lol! I'm trying to make a good variety, so I made one with a girl on it today, for girls. I'm not good at contemporary Christmas colours really, and I think this image calls for some traditional colours too :) I also had an inky accident involving an upside down inkpad, so I had to add some extra ink around the image lol, but I think it didn't work out too badly - it's darker than I had wanted but I think it looks ok.

Ingredients
Charm - I got at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, but I think they don't do them any more :(
Pearls - Ribbon Girl
Medium - Promarkers
Everything else - Glamour Dust, Glossy Accents

Courageous Carl

Hi all

I made this card as a "get well soon" card for my Uncle Jim, he has cancer and was operated on last week, the surgery went well so thank goodness for that. I didn't want anything negative or hospital related on the card, so I chose to put a lion on there as a symbol of the courage that is needed to fight cancer.

Ingredients
Medium - Promarkers
Everything Else - Glossy Accents, Gold Stickles

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Card Crafter's Circle - Textures (distressed, stickled edges - surprisingly nice to touch!)

As we all know, cats now rule the world.

Evening everybody :)

Recently, the local SPCA had a charity sale and I made some cards for it, this being one of them; I'm a cat lover through and through, and one cannot deny that they're a very proud animal! I thought this saying goes quite nicely with the haughty cat in the image :)

Ingredients
Image - I'm fairly sure it's by Just Inklined, but I can't find it on their page.
Medium - Promarkers
Paper - Stash
Sentiment - computer generated

The inside of the card says
...Cats have never forgotten this.

Man card

Morning all

I haven't posted in days - sorry! I'm up to my ears in cardmaking at the moment, the local SPCA is having a charity sale and I volunteered to make some cards for them to sell there, I also promised I'd bake some cakes for it too, so I'm super busy! All for a worthy cause though. I was colouring in some images for the cards last night, and my rescue cat came and sat on my arm while I was working lol, so I didn't get too much done!

I made this card a couple of days ago for my dad's cousin who just turned 60. He plays golf, hence the image! I hope you like it.

Ingredients
Medium: Promarkers, Glossy Accents
Papers: DCWV Boys paper pack

Closeup of the image - I think he's so cute :)

Wall hanging

Evening all :)

I hope everyone's doing well, it's sooo cold! Now that Halloween's over, I can feel guilt-free about preparing for and looking forward to Christmas hehe, even though most of my shopping is done long ago. I woke up the other morning with the idea for a Christmas get-together with my girlfriends, and I can't wait until it's close enough to Christmas for this to actually not be crazy lol :P

Anyway, Christmas rant over, I can't wait lol :P

My neighbour and friend has been a bit down lately, so I wanted to make her a present to cheer her up, so I made her a wall hanging. I hope you like it. Sorry the pictures are so bad, they were the first batch of pictures I took with my new camera, so I wasn't quite used to it yet!

The photo is of myself and Theresa from a few years ago, and I printed the sentiment off myself.

Ingredients
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Papers - Lili of the Valley Bonnets and Bowties paperpack
Leaves - MS punch
Gems - Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls - Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbons - Wild Orchid Crafts

MMCS DT Post

Hi everyone

I know I'm a day late with this post so sorry about that - I had my niece for the day yesterday! We went to the cinema to see Hotel Transylvania (amazing movie!) and then I took her to McDonalds, then home for a quick rest before getting dressed up to go trick-or-treating with her and my other niece.

Anyway, onto crafty things. This week's challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge Blog is BOLD AND BRIGHT
and we're sponsored by
who are providing our lucky winner with 6 digis from there store.

So here's my card for the challenge :) I made this a while back but never got around to blogging it. It was made for my neighbour to give her relative Karl to say well done in his school exams; he got great results!

Ingredients
Image: Champion Ted by Lili of the Valley
Medium: Promarkers, Glossy Accents
Embellies: Wooden Letters - Bunny Zoe's Crafts, gems from stash, bunting handcut.
Sentiment: printed off the computer.

A closeup of the image

My handcut bunting...I really need to invest in a die for this lol.
