Forever Friends DT Card - Anything goes

Evening all

A few hours late with this post! Mum has the flu today so I've been looking after her, and since Dad is about as capable in the kitchen as a baby, I was looking after him too haha! Fun times :) That and going to the supermarket to buy ingredients for tonight's cocktails kept me busy :P

Anyway, over at Forever Friends today, the last challenge of the year is the super easy

We have two FANTABULOUS (yes it's a word - spellcheck didn't mind it anyway :D) sponsors this time, our Randomly selected winner's prize is sponsored by the loverly

Our Forever Friends Favourite prize is sponsored by the fantastical

I used one of the Delicious Doodles images for my card - Butterfly Bliss - and I love it! As soon as I saw them I really liked it, and an idea for a card fell into my head, so I made it. I hope you like it.

My Favourite Cards of 2012

OK, so I'm coming up to the end of my first year of blogging! I started crafting in about November 2011 when I was cooped up in hospital for months with nothing to do, and I got addicted :) I started blogging in January 2012, so here's to many more years of happily crafting away :) I'm completely in awe of the fact that I have nearly 100 followers, to me, that's completely insane because I honestly thought I would never even have one - so thank you all :D You really make me feel special :)

I'm not very fond of any of the cards I make lol, nothing I do is ever going to be "good enough" I guess, but there are a few that I don't hate as much as the rest lol, so I'll put those ones here :)

Debby is running a "favourite five" competition, so I've managed to find five of my cards that I'm ok about reposting lol, and another project that isn't a card, but that I'm actually happy with and that's full of meaning for me :)

My first attempt at colouring monochrome, here's the post. Lili of the Valley is one of my favourite brand of stamps too :)

A Saturated Canary bon voyage card, this was the first card I inked the edges on lol, and I've been doing it ever since. Love SC digis too. Here's the post.

This is my favourite Christmas card I made this year I think :) Here's the post.

This is one of the first easel cards I've ever made and I really like their style! I also discovered Tiddly Inks, and I want to buy ALL of them. Here's the post.

This is my sister's birthday card, another easel/LOTV card. Here's the post.

And here's my project that I'm proud of.
My Harry Potter wall hanging. If you like Harry Potter, take a look at the post here :)

So that's me done, looking forward to another year of crafting in 2013 :D
Thanks for looking :)

Birthday Card

Evening all :)

I'm super tired today, from time to time I go through patches where I get really bad, horribly vivid nightmares, and I'm going through one now, so haven't had a proper night's sleep in a few nights...I get the nightmare then I'm so afraid afterwards that I can't turn the light off and don't go back asleep properly at far this time, I've dreamed I got bitten by a snake and I dreamed last night that my boyfriend got blown up. So yeah, not conducive to great sleep lol.

A break from Christmas cards for me, my aunt's birthday was yesterday, and I made this card for my mum to give her. It's only the second ever Easel Card I've made, I really like them though!

Punched leaves: Martha Stewart Frond Punch
Dies: Spellbinders heart die

Better late than never right?

Hi everyone

I know it's SUPER late, but I've been pretty unwell the last couple of weeks, and on top of that, my knee injury flared up and pretty much stopped me from sitting at my craft desk, because it really hurts it sitting up - so it was couch or bed for me, I hate being immobile! :( it's a bit better today though and I have an appointment this week to get referred back to the surgeon, so hopefully it'll all get fixed soon.

My woes and tribulations are nothing, NOTHING, compared to the tragedy that happened in Conneticut this past few days...I can only imagine the horror these people are going through...keeping them in my thoughts and prayers...having a loved one torn away from you through senseless acts of terrorism is one of the worst things in the world :( Remember the victims, and their families.

Onto crafting matters. This fortnight's challenge over at Forever Friends (yes, I started on Monday, I'm so late :( but better late than never!) is Christmas Cards. We are sponsored by this challenge by two lovely sponsors:

Randomly Selected Winner
who are providing our lucky winner with 7 digis from their fabulous store

Forever Friends Favourite
who are giving our lucky favourite this set of clear stamps AND a personalised "handmade by" stamp

So get entering because those be some great prizes :)

So here's my card, using the wonderful Bugaboo image Fancy SB Christmas - isn't she so cute! I love the sunbonnet images, I think they're adorable :)

Image - Fancy SB Christmas - Bugaboo Stamps
Ribbon - Wild Orchid Crafts
Charm - Ribbon Girl
Lace - Ribbon Girl

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Another CAS Christmas :)

Evening all

I'm out of town for these few days so won't be crafting til Sunday! Withdrawal symptoms setting in haha. So here's another of the CAS cards I made, it's similar enough layout to my last one, but different image and sentiment. I'm so bad when it comes to CAS cards, I always just use this same layout lol.

I love these snowmen by Heather Ellis - they're just so cute! :D And super easy to colour too.

Medium - Promarkers
Everything else - Glossy Accents, Glamour Dust, White Gel Pen

So that's my latest creation, I'd like to enter him into the following challenges:

CAS Christmas

Hi guys

I've been SO busy the last few days, I was sick with a virus first of all, then got a huge spate of card orders that all for some reason were needed by the next day lol, one of them for 10 Christmas cards. So needless to say, I kept those ones quite simple. Here's one of them. I got a couple of packages in the last few days, and I got a white gel pen and Liquid Pearls, so was dying to try them out, so they both got used on here :D I'm really pleased with both of them :)

Image - this happy little snowman is by Heather Ellis
Medium - Promarkers, white gel pen
