A few hours late with this post! Mum has the flu today so I've been looking after her, and since Dad is about as capable in the kitchen as a baby, I was looking after him too haha! Fun times :) That and going to the supermarket to buy ingredients for tonight's cocktails kept me busy :P

My Favourite Cards of 2012

OK, so I'm coming up to the end of my first year of blogging! I started crafting in about November 2011 when I was cooped up in hospital for months with nothing to do, and I got addicted :) I started blogging in January 2012, so here's to many more years of happily crafting away :) I'm completely in awe of the fact that I have nearly 100 followers, to me, that's completely insane because I honestly thought I would never even have one - so thank you all :D You really make me feel special :)

I'm not very fond of any of the cards I make lol, nothing I do is ever going to be "good enough" I guess, but there are a few that I don't hate as much as the rest lol, so I'll put those ones here :)

Debby is running a "favourite five" competition, so I've managed to find five of my cards that I'm ok about reposting lol, and another project that isn't a card, but that I'm actually happy with and that's full of meaning for me :)

My first attempt at colouring monochrome, here's the post. Lili of the Valley is one of my favourite brand of stamps too :)

A Saturated Canary bon voyage card, this was the first card I inked the edges on lol, and I've been doing it ever since. Love SC digis too. Here's the post.

This is my favourite Christmas card I made this year I think :) Here's the post.

Last minute Christmas card

Good afternoon everybody

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and that you've all recovered from your food comas by now! Hehe. I had a lovely day - it was the first Christmas I've spent with my boyfriend - in fact, the first Christmas I've ever spent with a boyfriend lol! Poor Anthony had to put up with my crazy family, I'd say that was a shock to the system for him haha!

I got loads of goodies too, a fabulous pair of shoes, some PJs, lovely Lancome makeup and skincare, bucket loads of jellies and sweets, and loads and loads of crafty stuff!!! I got 18 LOTV stamps, 3 sets of LOTV Sentiment stamps, a LOTV paper pads, Inkylicious ink dusters, 2 First Edition paper pads, 2 Bo Bunny paper pads and some lovely goodies from Ribbon Girl's Online Store :D I did so well! Can't wait to get crafty :D

Birthday Card

Evening all :)

I'm super tired today, from time to time I go through patches where I get really bad, horribly vivid nightmares, and I'm going through one now, so haven't had a proper night's sleep in a few nights...I get the nightmare then I'm so afraid afterwards that I can't turn the light off and don't go back asleep properly at all...so far this time, I've dreamed I got bitten by a snake and I dreamed last night that my boyfriend got blown up. So yeah, not conducive to great sleep lol.

Better late than never right?

Hi everyone

I know it's SUPER late, but I've been pretty unwell the last couple of weeks, and on top of that, my knee injury flared up and pretty much stopped me from sitting at my craft desk, because it really hurts it sitting up - so it was couch or bed for me, I hate being immobile! :( it's a bit better today though and I have an appointment this week to get referred back to the surgeon, so hopefully it'll all get fixed soon. 

My woes and tribulations are nothing, NOTHING, compared to the tragedy that happened in Conneticut this past few days...I can only imagine the horror these people are going through...keeping them in my thoughts and prayers...having a loved one torn away from you through senseless acts of terrorism is one of the worst things in the world :( Remember the victims, and their families.

Hi guys

I've been SO busy the last few days, I was sick with a virus first of all, then got a huge spate of card orders that all for some reason were needed by the next day lol, one of them for 10 Christmas cards. So needless to say, I kept those ones quite simple. Here's one of them.
