Baby card

Hi all

Last wednesday, we welcomed my new niece Isabel :) She's adorable, little pink and has loads of brown hair, 7 lb 7 oz and is just beautiful! So obviously, I had to make some baby girl cards. I've been making them all through the year in advance, but I made one more the other day :) 

I bought loads of baby images, and I couldn't resist this adorable baby from Some Odd Girl, I think it's just the cutest little thing!

Those big eyes are just fantastic :)

Birthday card

Afternoon everybody

Well...it's been the most up and down week of my life I think haha, loads of really good things, and really bad things happened this week, so I don't know whether to be happy or not lol. I got a new niece, she's so cute :) Isabel is her name. Not going into the rest, it's complicated and not so nice!

Anyway, I made a card on Saturday for my pilot friend, who's an absolute legend. He's one of my oldest friends and one of the nicest people on the planet! I made him a card for his 16th birthday lol, I think the new one is slightly better :P Here's the one I made him then:

The upside-down 21 is the runway heading at our local airport, it's not just random numbers lol.

And here's the one I made for him over the weekend. I saved it til today to put up, as Lili of the Valley are having a Birthday Blog Hop and Birthday Card Competition in honour of their 9th birthday! So this is the card I've entered in :)

I think Andrew was suitably impressed with my improvement over the years lol :)

Birthday card

Evening all

I made this card last night, I want to boost the amount of cards in my card box, need some to have on standby ya know? Really what I need to make is birthday cards for boys, but I never seem to get round to doing so :P Girly ones are just so much...easier. Flowers, bows, pearls, you name it they can all go on. What to put on a boy's card? Especially when my boyfriend has a button phobia! Very difficult altogether. Any tips welcome!!!

Blogaversary Candy

Today is my first blogaversary. Yup. AND I have 99 followers. 

This is very exciting for me - I want to thank each and every one of you for actually clicking 'follow' on my blog - that makes me so proud that you actually made that effort, just for little old me. And on top of that, for always commenting on my creations and for making me feel special and like I have made something that even though I rarely like it, that maybe, just maybe, it's actually not too bad! 

So I'm doing a blog candy giveaway for you lovely people, I haven't got all the bits together yet so there's no picture, but there'll be a die, some ribbon and other nice things that I hope you'll like. 

I don't like rules so there's not many.

Cat, I'm a kitty cat

Here's a card I made recently, I saw a colour combo of pink, ivory and kraft somewhere, and I thought I'd try it out - I very rarely make cards that are pastel or anything other than bright, so it was a bit of a challenge!
