Girlfriend Birthday card

Hi everybody :)

I made this a while ago for a friend to give his girlfriend on her birthday, my first 8x8 card so was strange working on a bigger card hehe, but it suited the image perfectly I think, there are just so many little details in it that I really don't think it would look good on a 6x6. She's a beautician and loves pink and white, so this is what I came up with :) I took inspiration from a card on the Make it Crafty website (where the background set is from) by Tracy Payne of Crafteezee, using a similar layout so felt I had to include that in my post too.
Ingredients
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts: Roses, rosebuds, chrysanthemums, heather, cherry blossoms, cosmos daisies
Sentiment - LOTV Greetings Postmarks
Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily Die
Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourish
Whimsy Corner Die
Papermania/Lucy Cromwell Papers
Coloured with Promarkers
Ribbon Girl: Pink lace, pearls, Stickles, Glossy Accents
Feathers and Tulle from stash

Frantage mad!

Hi everyone
So this was one of the first cards I used frantage for, and I totally overdid it, but really don't care haha! I love the effect, and I just couldn't stop myself - I literally frantaged everything - papers, image, diecuts, the butterfly... I had fun ;) The cats freaked out at the sound of the heat tool, but after a few minutes they were cool and just went back asleep :)

Ingredients
Image - LOTV Summer Days
Papers - Country Companions (not that you can see much of it with all the frantage :P)
Ribbon and Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearl Trim, Pearl flower trim, cheesecloth, charm and silver butterfly - Ribbon Girl
La-la-land Hearts Banner Die
Cheery Lynn French Pastry Die
Spellbinders Floral Ovals Die
Whimsy Ticket Die and Sentiment
Purple Butterfly from stash
Computer generated sentiment on the bottom
Coloured with Promarkers
Glossy Accents, Stickles, Liquid Pearls

Edges of everything distressed and inked with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink

50th Wedding Anniversary Card

Evening everyone :)

A friend asked for a 50th wedding anniversary card for his parents, so this is what I made. Luckily I had some gold mirri card so I could put some gold on there as it's the golden anniversary. Happy customer, so happy Tags. He owns a sweet shop too so every time I make a card for him I get a bag of jellies in exchange - BEST PAYMENT EVER haha!

Ingredients

Papers - LOTV Country Lady
Sentiment - LOTV Postmark Greetings
Numbers - JoyCrafts Alphabet Die
Flowers and Ribbon - Wild Orchid Crafts

Trying something new! LOTV Birthday card :)

Hi everyone.

I saw a tutorial for a card similar to this on Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog a while ago and decided to add a few extras on the sides lol. It went down a treat with the recipient anyway. I'm trying to be a bit more adventurous with my cards, I've fallen into a rut of boringness and I want out heh.

Lollipop Lollipop

Morning everyone :)

When I'm feeling under the weather I like to make happy cards to look at :P So I did that yesterday.

I watched Silver Linings Playbook while making it, SUCH a good movie! I laughed hysterically, I cried hysterically, and for me that is...unusual. Normally when I watch a movie it's my boyfriend crying and laughing, not me haha. VERY few movies actually bring out any emotion for me, so I always consider a movie that can do that very powerful! Also, Jennifer Lawrence is a GODDESS. Major girl crush right there! Anyway enough rambling about random stuff, here's my card :D

The new lights in the kitchen just aren't working out for me to take my piccies at all anymore, so I've had to start venturing outside to take them instead...which is all well and good when it isn't raining, but what do I do then?!
