Christmas in July

So onto my card. I used a Michelle's Scrapbooking image for my card :)

The image is from Michelle's Scrapbooking, the charm is from Ribbon Girl, the ribbon and gems are from Wild Orchid Craft and the rest is from my stash.

Summer card :)

Hello everyone :)

I hope you're having a nice Sunday. The weather isn't too bad here today, it's not raining anyway! For now lol.

I made a summery card last night, I'm happy enough with how it turned out I think :)

The image is Penny Black and one of my favourite stamps I own. The sentiment is LOTV, the flowers, pearls, gems and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the leaves are a MS punch and the rest is from my stash.

Less is More Christmas Card

Evening everybody

Just a quick post tonight, it's very late and I'd meant to be in bed early tonight but time got away from me :( My back is in bits today, my bones ache a lot from time to time, and today is just one of those days! Hopefully it'll be painfree tomorrow :)

I saw the challenge over at Less is More as being gold, and this card came into my head. A while ago my darling mum bought me a cardmaking kit that she saw in Lidl, and at the time I thought it was going to be useless, but when I opened it up, there were a fair few nice bits in it, and I've actually used up most of it now! The tree is one of the bits from the kit :) I'm really not good at CAS cards, but I think this one worked out Ok enough I guess.

The tree is from the Lidl kit, the sentiment is LOTV and the corners, gems and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Summer Man Card

Good morning everybody :)

Hope everyone is well and happy :) I made this card for my parents to give to a relative who had their 50th birthday recently. They asked me for something with a bit of humour so this is what I came up with :)

The image and sentiment are from the wonderful Bugaboo, the ribbon and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the flourish is a Cheery Lynn flourish, the gorgeous little sailboat charm is from Ribbon Girl, the papers are Bo Bunny and DCWV and the rest is from my stash.

My First Tilda Card!

Evening all :)

Today I'm going to share my first ever Tilda card! I got some Magnolia stamps for my birthday and this is the first thing I've made with one of them :) When I started crafting, I wasn't too keen on the Magnolia stamps, the fact that they didn't have mouths weirded me out a bit lol, but as time went on I slowly fell in love with them, and now I want ALL the Tildas and Edwins! Hehe. So I asked for some for my birthday and I got :)

Here's the card I made!

Isn't she cute? The papers are a mixture of Lucy Cromwell Papermania and Wild Rose Studio ones, the ribbon is from Ribbon Girl, the gems and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I used my new MS frond punch for the leaves! The sentiment is LOTV and the doily is from my stash. The sentiment didn't come out great in the photo, it's a lot clearer IRL.

We're all mad here...

Evening all :)

My crafty mojo decided to go on holiday all this week, but it seems to be back now :D It happens every time I get new stash for some reason, I just can't make anything work :( I think I get overwhelmed with all the new choices I have to make lol :P

Anyway, I made a couple of cards today that I'm actually kind of happy with! So here's the first one :) When I saw this Cheshire cat image on Bugaboo, I had to buy it! It reminds me of my friend Saoirse, she's a crazy cat lady and Alice in Wonderland reminds me of her too :P

The papers are from my new pack by We R Memory Keepers, the butterflies are an MS punch, the image is from Bugaboo, the corner and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the sentiment/banner I printed out on the computer and cut out then :)

A closeup of this sweet take on a well known image! I think he's just adorable. I coloured him with Promarkers and put Glossy Accents on his famous smile.

A closeup of the sentiment, I'm pretty happy with how it came out, usually when I print sentiments off I hate them, but this one came out quite well I think.

I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card - it's not very interesting craftily speaking, but I put another Alice in Wonderland quote in there:

It's a major part of the card, so I didn't want to leave it out of this post :P
