Sweet Stampin DT Post - Create a Scene

Morning everybody!



I was lucky enough to be asked by Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog to be their May Guest Designer! 

Today is the first challenge that I'm part of, and their theme this time is to CREATE A SCENE. 

The sponsor this time is Cuddly Buddly and they're providing the lucky winner with a £10 voucher for the store. Sweet Stampin also have a monthly sponsor - Ribbon Girl, so there's a £10 voucher to their store each month too.

So here's the card I made, as soon as I heard the theme, I immediately thought of these images :D And I'm pretty happy with how it turned out I think!

Egyptian Pottery - Make It Crafty (I used both images)
Cleo Walk the Walk - Tiddly Inks
Medium - Promarkers
Papers - Papermania Capsule Collection and LOTV Country Gent
Twill ribbon - Ribbon Girl
Pearl trim - Ribbon Girl
Hessian Mesh - Ribbon Girl
Lace - Ribbon Girl
Cheesecloth - Ribbon Girl
I stamped corners and edges with Fancy Pants Journals a la Mode stamps
Everything Else - Stardust Stickles, Distress Stickles, Glossy Accents

    What a lovely exotic little Cairo scene Tanya and the glitter round the edge gives the impression of sand which is so appropriate for Egypt. It will certainly be a lot warmer there than here again today, we've got the heating back on.
