All Dressed Up DT Inspiration

Evening everybody :)

As it is the first of March, the latest challenge over at the All Dressed Up Facebook Page has gone live. The theme this month is 1-2-3; one of something, two of something, three of something. 

I've used the gorgeous image Love Heart for my card :) 

I think I need a new camera, no matter what light I take my pictures in now, and no matter what settings I use, the colour is always a bit off.

All Dressed Up October Facebook Challenge

Good evening everyone!

I was on holiday for two weeks, and on the flight home I got so sick that the paramedics were waiting for me when the plane landed, worst flight ever :P When you're at 30000 ft and can't see, feel your arms or face and your heart-rate is about 30 bpm and you can't stop vomiting, it gets pretty terrifying. Still not quite sure what went wrong, but a week later I'm feeling much stronger but still a bit delicate. 

Anyway, I'm playing catchup on all aspects of life at the moment, the post-holiday laundry pile seems to be never ending, I have so much college work to do I don't even want to think about it, and there's a few card orders due already so I'm feeling the pressure :P I need to concentrate on my health first though, as I can't do much if I'm dead lol. 

So, a few days late but better late than never. The All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge for October is the theme of "Autumn or Halloween". 

I used the adorable image Magical Day for my card.

All Dressed Up May Facebook Challenge - Blue

Evening everyone :)

Update on Sparky, her surgery failed, there wasn't enough skin in the area to hold everything in place, it became infected and the vet had to do an amputation. She's home with us now again in recovery, I'm heartbroken for my beautiful baby, but I'm just happy that her recovery process is beginning for real now and she'll be well again in no time - the wound is so clean and tidy, our vet did an amazing job. Here she is, looking happy even one leg down. She's able to move around, albeit a little unsteadily, but I'm confident that she'll be flying about the place again in no time :) I get sad every time I see her little back end, but I'm just relieved she's alive and OK, just sad for what she's going through and how difficult her short life has been so far, she's dealt with so much already and she's so young :(

ANYWAY, back to crafty things again :) Today over at the All Dressed Up Facebook Page the latest Facebook Challenge has gone live with the theme this month of BLUE. 

I used the beautiful Three Little Party Girls image, aren't they cute :D I made them into a Christmas card :)

All Dressed Up for Passionate Paper Creations and Friends

Evening all

My beautiful cat Sparky got hit by a car last night, she survived but she's badly injured... She dislocated one of her back legs and tore a load of tendons and ligaments, my poor poor baby :'( Our supremely amazing vet took her in last night (a Friday night! At 9 pm! Would you believe it!) and took care of her, he gave her loads of medications to bring the swelling down and painkillers, x-rayed her and then this afternoon he performed surgery on her to insert screws into the joint to give it some support - the surgery went well, she's recovering in the vets now and will be there until at least Monday. My heart is broken for her. She's so brave. Our vet is actually a hero, he's basically spending his whole weekend taking care of my beautiful baby, all you vets out there deserve so much recognition for the amazing work you do! <3 

Top that with having a million things to do for college this week and only understanding about half of them, and I'm a grumpy seriously stressed out Tanya!! 

Anyway, back to happier craftier stuff...

Dreaming of Summer :)

Good evening everyone!

I'm writing this from my hotel room after a loooong couple of days in the lab... It's nice to be able to get to enjoy some free time in the hotel at last! I'm away from home doing lab training for my college course at the moment, the days are draining physically and mentally but I feel good (albeit very tired and a bit shaky) after doing them :) The air pressure in the labs is kind of strange so makes me feel a bit out of sorts, but I am finished for now :) Enjoying the hotel with my mum and sister, going to sleep in a bit later in the morning :D

It's March already, who can believe it! I surely can't, Christmas was definitely like last week... Time is going by so fast and I'm not sure how to deal with this :P
