My sister asked me for a wedding card for an alternative couple, they're tattooed and pierced and whatnot, so she didn't want a traditional pretty style wedding card, so this is what I came up with :D

LOTV easel card

Evening everyone :) 

I'm super tired today, I get periods of time where I get REALLY bad nightmares every night for sometimes weeks - this week so far I've had nightmares about being incarcerated in psychiatric hospitals like the ones in horror movies, dead bodies in the garden, ghosts in the sitting room, dead children and zombie children in the garden and soldiers with heat seeking missiles chasing me. The details are sooo vivid and complete, it's scary being in my head sometimes :P I obviously have a very vivid imagination, but it's really not conducive to good sleep, especially when I end up having to sleep with the light on!

Anyway, my dear friend Lisa asked for a birthday card for her boyfriend Nicky, they just got a dog together so she wanted a dog on the card, so this is what I came up with :) I made an easel card

Golf Father's Day

Hey everybody, 

It was my 25th birthday yesterday, I had a lovely day and got lots of lovely pressies :) I got some lovely dies, stamps, embellies and I've decided to start heat embossing so I asked for a heat tool, and my mum got me the pink Papermania one - hilarious moment when I opened that box and my dad thought it was something else entirely HAHAHA! I've had a super busy week visiting with people and going to appointments and things, haven't even had time to blog my father's day cards yet...so gonna do one now :D

Evening all :) 

Hope everyone's well. Today has been a good day for me, my cat was missing for a couple of days but she returned today, and has literally been asleep on the sofa all day! So I'm happy and can't stop cuddling her hehe :) 

I love this image, isn't she priceless?! As a grown up who was bullied as a kid for being the four-eyed nerd with braces...I'm COMPLETELY of the opinion now (if only I'd known it then!) that being a spectacle wearer is fun, and a great way to show off your style and personality in a way that non spec wearers can't :) And now that I am grown up, I'm LOVING my specs appeal ;) It's certainly not something to be mocked for, I'm a four-eyed nerd and LOVE IT :D So tell that to all your speccy-wearing daughters (and sons!) who are insecure about their glasses, that it's fun, it's cool and not something to ever be ashamed of :)

Evening everybody :)

A Romanian friend requested a birthday card for her sister back home...Dana is obsessed with tea, so I figured that she'd love this image :) And she did! I got another Romanian friend to translate for me - the sentiment is "Happy birthday to my sister" in Romanian - that bit was a surprise for Dana and she was so happy! I love a happy recipient :) She also loves shabby chic/vintage stuff, so I tried my best to go with that sort of style :)
