floral easel card

Evening all :)

I'm feeling much better now, managing to stay conscious for most of the day now haha, I really should get that checked out, as I'm really not sure local anesthetic is meant to have that effect on a body for that long lol.

Here's a card I made a few weeks ago, I made a similar one for my mum months ago for her birthday, and my neighbour saw it and decided she wanted one for her sister for her birthday, so I made a similar one for her :)

Ingredients
Image - Milk Coffee
Papers - LOTV Promises and Petal Fresh
Wild Orchid Craft flowers and ribbon
Sentiment - LOTV sentiment tags
MS butterfly punch
MS leaf punch
MS Doily border punch
Butterfly, pearls and diamante gem - Ribbon Girl
Coloured with Promarkers
Glossy Accents, Liquid Pearls, Stickles

Forever Friends Colour Challenge

Evening all

Today the latest Fortnightly Challenge over at the Forever Friends Challenge Blog, and our theme this week is a

Colour Challenge

Use one colour, all the colours or a combination of a few of them! Simple.

Our randomly selected winner is sponsored by

and our Forever Friends Favourite prize is sponsored by

who also provided images for the DT to work with, yippee. And the one that I chose is definitely one of my new favourites, it's so unique, adorable and versatile!

So here's my card, made using a Milk Coffee image.

I love this Milk Coffee image! So much fun to work with :D The birdcage is a Tim Holtz diecut that I was sent in a candy from the wonderful Brenda of Floral Fantasies, inked and Glossy Accented all over, the papers are from a We Are Memory Keepers pack, the sentiment is Lili of the Valley, the flourish is a Cheery Lynn diecut, the fabulous charm is from Ribbon Girl, the gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts (but got squished in my Grand Calibur lol) and the rest is from stash.

A closeup of the image, smooshed gems and all! Coloured with Promarkers and I put Stickles on there too.

My sparkly flourish :)

A closeup of this charm - it's so pretty!

Today's card

Evening everyone :)

First of all, I'd like to say a big thank you to the DT over at Penny Black and More who chose one of my cards to be in their Spotlight of the Month feature, I'm happy out :D Also, I'd like to say thanks to Brenda of Floral Fantasies, as I won a candy from her, and all of it is AMAZING! I'm now totally addicted to Glossy Accents!

So I'd like to share my card with you - I'm actually happy with how it turned out! Which doesn't happen very often for me at all :) It's an unusual colour scheme for me, not that I don't like it, I just don't have ANY papers that go with, or are red! I just can't seem to find them :P I like how summery these colours look though :)

So this is my card :D The papers are from a Bo Bunny pack called Alora I think. The image is from Milk Coffee, they have such cute digis! The ribbon and gems are from Wild Orchid crafts. The swirl is a Marianne Design one. The birdcage I won in the candy, along with the red ink that I used to colour it, and the Glossy Accents that are coating it.

A closeup of this darling image, which is also accented with Glossy Accents :D It's coloured with Promarkers.

My bow and Glossy Accented Swirl (I'm addicted to this stuff now!)

A closeup of this birdcage, I actually love this diecut, it's beautiful.

So that's my card :)

I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
