I was busy in my craft room this evening, I tidied all my stuff up so it's neat enough again and I did some colouring and then I made a card :) I'm happy enough with it, I love the image!
Earlier on this week, I also unearthed a box of old Halloween costumes, and there's sooo much cool stuff in there just waiting to be chopped up and put on cards!! I started off by cutting bits out of a tutu that I wore as part of a fairy costume a few years ago, here I am, in said costume haha! Those were the days lol.
The image is Penny Black, the pearls are from Ribbon Girl, the sentiment is LOTV, the papers are Bo Bunny, the charm and snowflakes are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and the rest is from my stash. The tulle is from my tutu but coloured with tea.
A closeup of this adorable image with his little list! Soooo cute! I coloured him with Promarkers and did the background with tea.
A closeup of the bow and charm
My sentiment, also coloured with tea :D
Closeup of the snowflake, these arrived yesterday and I'm really happy with them! They're just plain wooden ones, I inked them up and added the pearl myself.
So that's my card, making Christmas cards makes me want it to be December already haha :) Every Christmas, I read A Christmas Carol and watch both the Disney version and the Muppets version of the movie, so every time I make a Christmas card, I think of them :)
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Read all about it (inspired by a book - A Christmas Carol)
ABC Challenge - W for Wishes - Christmas Wishes!
ABC Christmas Challenge - R for Recycling - the tulle from my Halloween costume
Thanks for looking :)
Nighty night!
