Seems like everyone is sick, I have a bad sore throat and am really achey, but that's as good an excuse as any to stay in my PJs all day I think. I sat and watched Disney movies for most of the day, so that was fun :)
I made this card last night using one of my new LOTV stamps :) I'm fairly happy with how it turned out I think :) I like that it's pretty much suitable for everyone - men, women or kids :)
The image as I said above is from Lili of the Valley, and the papers and sentiment are also LOTV, the charm and wooden snowflakes came from Bunny Zoe's, the twine and buttons from Ribbon Girl, the gold pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts and the hessian came from my local craft store.
A closeup of the image, coloured with Promarkers, there's Stickles on there too, and I used some puffy stuff on the falling snow.
A closeup of the sentiment, I coloured the paper with tea.
The little charm :)
A closeup of the snowflake, button and bow. I inked the snowflake up first.
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Paperplay Challenges - Choose a Holiday (Christmas)
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Inspired by a song (Let it Snow)
Thanks for looking,
Nighty night :)

I think it's the weather Tags, no wonder so many people are ill, we had Azaria home yesterday with some sort of lurgy.
ReplyDeleteVery remiss of me as I forgot to say thank you the other day, not only for your kind comments but for the donation you made to the AHT in memory of Buffy, that really was the very kind of you.
Yesterday I spoke to the vet who we saw on Friday to thank him for his kindness and it came up in conversation that Buffy was my crafting companion, one thing led to another and they are delighted with the offer of cards to sell to raise funds. So a box of 100 is ready to go and it's so nice to think they will serve a useful purpose.
How do I have so many ? Well I used to make them for the MS Society, but it seems they no longer want them as they say they no longer have the facilities to sell them, so I'm delighted they will help the AHT.
Finally your gorgeous card, really like the neutral colours for a Christmas card and all the lovely texture.
