Another Boy Card

I'm getting right into the swing of boy cards these days :P I got a new paper pack this week - my first ever Basic Grey pack ever! I'm on a tight budget and they seem a little more expensive than some of the stuff I use, but the pack I got is lovely :) And I was pretty happy with the way the card turned out too :D I'd never worked with these colours before, it came out way better than I'd expected :)

Anyway, this is the card I came up with :)

The papers are Basic Grey, the sentiment is LOTV, the pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the epic cat is from Bugaboo! I bought it to go with the papers :) Best image ever :P

A close up of the cat, he's cool enough to deserve his own picture :P

MTY Christmas Card

Hi again :)

I decided to make a Christmas card again today. Back when I first discovered rubber stamps, this one was the first one that I bought! So it's got a special attachment really :) In fact, the image on the card was the first thing I ever coloured with Promarkers. I kept it safe until such time as I decided to use it, and today was that day :)

So this is what I made :)

I used the MTY stamp, coloured with Promarkers, and glittered up with Stickles, the sentiment is LOTV, the ribbon and charm are from Ribbon Girl and the papers and gems are from my Christmas stash from last year.

A closeup of my first ever colouring job :P

Close up of the charm, it gets a bit lost in the main picture.

So that's my card. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Boy card

I made this card for my boyfriend's birthday. He's a Liverpool supporter and I have no idea what to do for man cards, so this is what I came up with!

I used Forever Friends man paper and stickers, the gems are from my stash and the stamp and sentiment are LOTV. I printed out a really tiny Liverpool crest and stuck it on the jersey. It's a pretty plain card, but since he has a phobia of buttons, there's not really anything else I could put on it!!

I got two more blog awards from the lovely Kate, I'm well happy with myself hehe :P Thanks Kate, you rock :) As does your blog!

The first one is the Liebster Award, for bloggers with less than 200 followers (I have a looooooong way to go before I can't fit into that category haha).

2. Put the award in your post.
3. Choose 5 blogs with under 200 followers to receive the award.

I don't really know 15 bloggers, so 6 will have to do :P

7 Facts:

1. I have a couple of lumps missing out of my right ear since birth, it looks like it got nibbled by a mouse. My mother's right ear is also the same!

2. I can turn my feet backwards due to my hypermobile hips.

3. I play piano and clarinet.

4. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, and really wished that I could go to Hogwarts!

5. My biggest fear is fire. I had a nightmare when I was about 4 that I got trapped in a burning building, and since then I've been terrified.

6. My eyesight is insanely bad. I've been wearing glasses since I was 8 and if you took them off me now, I'd be in serious trouble :P

7. I'm addicted to jellies, Haribo, Natural Confectionary Company etc, and there's a local sweet shop called Sweet Corner (best shop ever!!) that I raid every week. :D

So that's me, thanks for the awards Kate, and thanks to everyone else for providing me with inspiration and aspiration to be a good cardmaker!

Girly Birthday

Hey all, went on a bit of a card-making fest today and made another card :) I used a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for this card:

So here is my take on it.

The embossed paper and gems are from my stash, the two patterned paper are Forever Friends ones, the image and sentiment are LOTV, the ribbon is from Ribbon Girl and the flowers as always are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

A close up of this little missy, coloured with Promarkers.

The newspaper paper is from the Forever Friends man pack, the rest of the papers and the gems are from my stash. The image and sentiment are Bugaboo. I love Gus!

A closeup of this funny funny image!

So that's it, a pretty plain card, but I'm happy enough with how it came out really :)

Birthday Boy Card

Hello

Another day, another card. This one was requested by my neighbour for her nephew's 21st birthday. So this is what I came up with.

The lady I made it for likes bigger cards so instead of my usual 6x6 I used an A5 (I think?) size card. It's big! I cut the stars out freehand, took a few attempts to get them right haha :P the blue patterned paper is from the Forever Friends man collection, the yellow spotty one is DCWV. The sentiment is LOTV and the image is Meljen's Designs. The numbers and other papers are from my stash. And there's a generous helping of Stickles as well, as always! :P

A close up of this image, I really like it! It's a digi, sooo handy cos the only boy image i have really is a boy with a football and the guy this card is for isn't into football apparently, so that wouldn't have worked! And cos I could download it straight away, I was able to get started on the card as soon as I was asked for it :)

I'd like to enter this into the following:

Divas by Design - Challenge 28: Stamp Something

Cute Card Thursday: Anything Goes

So that's me for now, thanks for looking, I hope you like it.
